About 1GL
1GL is the left-hand (L) blade of the Multi-Wing 1G profile; by Multi-Wing’s definition it turns counter-clockwise when facing the airstream. Request a quote for single blades or complete impellers marked “1GL” at the blade root.
Sickle profiles feature a blade tip swept in the direction of rotation. This shape reduces tip vortices and gives noticeably quieter operation at the same airflow. They are ideal for condensers near residential areas and projects with noise limits.
The G series is designed for the largest impellers in the Multi-Wing modular system. The 10G airfoil and 1G sickle profiles are used with G retaining plates from 1,202 mm up to 2,746 mm and are key components of large cooling towers and industrial dry coolers.
1GL can be produced at diameters from 1,202 mm to 2,536 mm. Since modular profiles are cut in 1 mm steps, simply state the diameter that matches your existing shroud or venturi ring.
