About 1Z
1Z is the core sickle profile of the Z family, keeping condenser fans quiet near residential areas.
Sickle profiles feature a blade tip swept in the direction of rotation. This shape reduces tip vortices and gives noticeably quieter operation at the same airflow. They are ideal for condensers near residential areas and projects with noise limits.
The Z series is the most widely used Multi-Wing family, covering 3Z, 4Z, 5Z, EMAX4, 1Z, 2Z2, 7Z, 6Z and the reversible TR7Z and TR8Z profiles. Mounted with Z retaining plates in various blade counts and angles, it is common on condenser, dry cooler, compressor and genset fans.
1Z can be produced at diameters from 281 mm to 1,029 mm. Since modular profiles are cut in 1 mm steps, simply state the diameter that matches your existing shroud or venturi ring.
