About 8WL
8WL is the left-hand (L) blade of the Multi-Wing 8W profile; by Multi-Wing’s definition it turns counter-clockwise when facing the airstream. Request a quote for single blades or complete impellers marked “8WL” at the blade root.
Broad paddle profiles have a very wide blade surface, producing strong thrust even at low speed. They are chosen for low-speed drives and large-diameter applications that are sensitive to noise.
The W series is designed for large-diameter impellers. The 5W, 6W, 7W, 9W2, 1W, 2W, 3W, 8W and TR11W profiles are mounted with W retaining plates and are used in cooling towers, large dry coolers, genset radiators and tunnel ventilation fans.
8WL can be produced at diameters from 356 mm to 1,656 mm. Since modular profiles are cut in 1 mm steps, simply state the diameter that matches your existing shroud or venturi ring.
